How do I help my kids with social skills?

I’m really struggling with helping my kids develop strong social skills. My oldest is naturally shy, my middle child is more outgoing but tends to dominate conversations, and my youngest is just learning the ropes. It feels like a juggling act trying to guide each of them in a way that suits their personalities without overwhelming them. Any tips on how to help them navigate friendships and social situations? I’d love to hear what’s worked for other parents!

I hear you! My daughter was super shy, and it was tough seeing her struggle to make friends. What helped was setting up one-on-one playdates with kids she seemed to click with. Smaller groups made her feel less anxious, and she eventually opened up. For my son, who’s a chatterbox, I taught him the “two ears, one mouth” rule—listen twice as much as you talk. It’s a work in progress, but he’s getting there!
